Bartek Farafoszyn started working in construction at just 14 years old. Over the next two decades, he worked through every stage of the residential building industry, from apprentice carpenter and tradesperson to site supervisor, gaining experience with some of BC’s largest builders and developers.
Along the way, he saw firsthand how homeowners were often overcharged, while tradespeople were pushed to cut corners just to stay profitable. The result was frustration on every side, and homes that didn’t reflect the level of care clients deserved.
In 2010, Bartek Construction was built on a different idea: treat everyone involved in the project with respect. The labourers, trades, architects, project managers, and homeowners all matter equally. When people take pride in their work, it shows in the final product.
More than 15 years and 250+ projects later, that mindset still shapes every home we build. It’s also why many of our clients come back for future projects and refer us to friends and family.
